Guillen was wondering in the papers how Loaiza can throw 94 in the All-Star game and only 87 when he's playing for the White Sox. He probably knew the answer, but he is frustrated with his ace from last year whose era is over 9 in July and was in the mid-5's in June. The ball's not moving very much and it's never been overpowering.
Mulder has had everyone on the Sox' number over his career with the Sox only batting .216 against him with only 3 HRs and 10 RBI in 139 attempts. Take out Mags and the Sox are .184, 1 HR and 6 RBI in 119 attempts.
The Sox problems in Oakland will still remain, Garcia just gave them a one-game reprieve.
