WHITE SOX/ANGELS OVER 9.5 -105 ? Apparently, all of Anaheim?s players are breaking out of their batting slumps simultaneously! They won the series opener in a 19-0 laugher on Friday, the 3rd time in 5 games that the Angels scored at least 7 runs. The White Sox have had little trouble scoring runs all year, last night?s shutout notwithstanding. Chicago has a team batting average of .289, and they average more than 6 runs per game. Granted, both of tonight?s starting pitchers shows great promise. However, Ramon Ortiz has a 10.38 ERA in 2 starts vs. the White Sox, his highest ERA vs. any big league team. Similarly, Garland has a high 5.19 ERA vs. Anaheim in 2 starts, with a poor WHIP against them of 1.73.
