ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS -115 - Arizona has taken the first 2 games of this series, and I like them to get the home sweep tonight vs. the reeling White Sox. Chicago is now a distressing 9-21 on the road, and I for one am shocked that manager Jerry Manuel has lasted this long. They have struggled badly offensively on the road, averaging just 3.47 runs per game while hitting .238 as a team. Don?t be fooled by last night?s 6-run outburst, as they scored 3 runs in the 9th inning off of a decimated Diamondbacks bullpen. True to their current form however, D?Angelo Jiminez ran himself into a double play to end the game, thus preventing the tying run from coming to the plate. Tonight?s starter Wright has been hit hard so far, as he is 0-3 with a 6.57 ERA and a very high 1.70 ratio. Furthermore, his ERA jumps to 9.72 on the road! Granted, Dessens has also struggled lately, but at least he has 3 Quality Starts in his 5 home starts.
