CHICAGO WHITE SOX -110 ? Garland was highly touted when he first came up to the big leagues, and it looks like he is starting to fulfill his potential. After getting roughed up in his first 2 starts, he has now recorded 3 Quality Starts in his last 4 starts. He shut out the mighty Mariners while allowing just 3 hits in 5 innings in his last outing, and has allowed only 18 hits in his last 23 innings pitched. Burba is coming off of his best performance of the season, a Complete Game 4-hit victory over the Blue Jays. However, pitchers of Burba?s mediocre caliber rarely string together consecutive great outings, and I feel that he will have a much tougher time with a red-hot White Sox team that outscored an excellent Oakland club 18-6 over the weekend.

I am with ya on the sox, Sox have tagged Burba well while he was in Cleveland. I think the public perception of the Texas offense is way off the money right now. The only team they have scored against in the last few weeks was Toronto. They just haven't been able to gel offensively especially with Irod and Juan Gone out of the lineup. Their pitching has been the surprise lately although tonight I don't think Burba can slow down the WhiteSox.

Very interesting statistic. Sox 2-5 hitters have driven in more runs then the entire starting lineup of the Rangers tonight. 14 more to be exact.
