I'm wondering (beyond looking at the statistics, which I've already done) how Damien Harris stacked up and performed compared to Henry and Ingram? Can't believe patriots drafted him early in the 3rd round and didn't play him all season.

Just a thought. Pats have Sony and white. Sony now has a knee issue. Pats probably took a shot an a developmental player. Vikings did this with Hunter. Hopefully the bargain agreement will allow teams to hold onto their practice guys. Should help the league and provide depth.
Sony has had ACL on both knees, but he has never really been a short yardage goal line back, neither has Rex Burkhead. James White, who leads the NFL in many receiving statistics by a running back over the last several years, never a goal line rushing option. Patriots fans got used to Blount, who would put the ball in the end zone. They haven't had anyone close to that since he left. I see Harris had 3 1200 yard seasons with 27 touchdowns at Alabama, and I'm not sure what kind of line he had in front of him. I can't imagine he isn't a better goal line than Sony.
Henry and Ingram were Heisman Trophy winners..,.Harris is good but to me he is no Henry OR Ingram,,,
obviously? I fully realize that. The kid had 3 straight 1100 yard seasons, and 27 touchdowns at Alabama. I'm wondering if he was a good short yardage guy, what kind of line did he have that Alabama? Is he the type of guy that can get a yard or 2 when he has to. I go to camp almost every day in the summer, Harris looked extremely good. It sounds ridiculous second-guessing BB at this point. But I can't believe the kid didn't play at all this season at a high 3rd round pick. Sony is not a short yardage back, obviously, James White is not, in my opinion Rex Burkhead sucks, and Harris should have had a role on this year's team, that was extremely limited offensively.
