who do you want your team to draft with their first pick ?

with the draft taking place tomorrow i think this is an interesting question....

as a long time giant fan,i'm hoping that they take the outside linebacker from fsu...lawrence timmons.....at about 6'3" & at 230 lbs i think he is the playmaker on defense that they have been lacking since the lt days...

anybody else ?

i just read that the cards like levi brown better than thomas...but agree that offensive line is a must for the cards.

A safety, preferably Reggie Nelson but if they roll the dice on Brandon Meriweather I love his upside. Reid and Banner might be scared off by his personal issues though.

i think with the new crackdown on bad conduct by the nfl, i think teams will shy away from meriweather in the 1st round.

i see some of the "draft experts" have picked safety griffen from texas or lb/de spencer from purdue.

but i think reid would do handstands if nelson is still on the board when they pick.

Problem is if Nelson is gone, which I think he will be, Meriweather's upside might be worth the risk as opposed to the other safeties left on the board.
