It's almost that time of year folks! The NCAA Hoops season for 2014-15!!
We all know the top teams, the Louisville's, the Carolinas (North that is), Dukeys, Cuse, etc., but who do you think will be the team that will make an impact in the NCAA tourney and rankings this year? 2 years ago was Florida Gulf Coast out of the clear blue!!
Starting off, David Rivers, swing/forward, has great quickness and gets offensive put backs, Another swing guard/forward Terran Petteway just finds ways to get to the free-throw line and has a way of coming up clutch in open shots from trey land, F Shavon Shields, son of former NFL lineman, Will Shields (KC Chiefs) has a shot at playing at the next level and he competes well, but keep an eye on their big men this year, Moses Abraham is a brute force inside and defensively and Walter Pitchford can offer some defensive skills and offensive rebounds to help the Huskers in 2014-15. They finished 4th last year in the Big10 and their HC, Miles, is a name that quickly shot up the coaching ranks for what he was able to do as lesser level competition before going to Colorado St, then to Lincoln. Keep an eye on this team, they could be in the Sweet 16 if all things fall into place this year or better!
