If you want a chalk play, try the Isles -1/2 -170. If you want a dog, try Carolina PK +170. The thing to do might be to play totals. Historically overs have been a good play long term in afternoon NHL games. Over 5 -105 in the Carolina vs. New Jersey game may be a good one.
