Arizona and Kentucky are locks.I think Pitt deserves one and Texas OR Oklahoma gets the 4th.But I think Pitt gets screwed because of RPI and Texas and gets them.

I think its AZ, OU and Kentucky are in. I think Pitts performance last night gets them in. I think it will be fresh in the minds of the selection comitee.

UAB, CMICH,Illinois. and Pitt. Just respect these teams for playing all out nad /or playing above or at least up to the talent level they have. I know this will not happen, LOL!!

Kansas gets the fist. Texas a #1 seed?

Makes some sense the more I think about it, based on head-to-head.

Okla killed Kansas in Norman.
Texas did lose at Lawrence, but it was TIGHT. Not a bad loss.

Jayhawks lost in Eugene, too. More I think about it, KS not getting a #1 sounds right. The committee is right a lot more than they're wrong.

Chuck...........

Youre missing the fact that KANSAS WON THE CONFERENCE OUTRIGHT>>>>>>>SOMETHING OK AND TEX DID NOT............Also Kansas just had a bad 1st half in Norman....they were down by 30 and lost by like 6......

Like I said Ariz , Kent , Tex and OKL. A real slap in the face of Pitt is they were sent to midwest instead of staying in the East. They deserve the 2 in the East easily before Wake.

Katz talked about Kansas' conf title. It's not balanced when you're playing in the North, instead of the South. Too many gimmes like KanSt and IowaSt. I think they got it right. Kansas lost at Colorado, too. I'm not sold. No Simien, too. And they do factor that in.

Chuck.......You and Andy Katz are wrong about this.........The big 12 sent 6 teams to the tourney....Kan,OkState,Mizzu,Colo,Tex and Okla...............Of these 6 teams

Kansas had 8 games against the other 5
Okla had 7 games against the other 5
Texas had 7 games against the other 5............

Kansas was 14-2
Texas was 13-3
Okla was 12-4..........So Kansas had to play 1 more extra game against NCAA bound teams and finished with a better record.......

Also you mention Colorado............They kicked Texas' ass by 13, whereas the beat Kansas by 1......I think almost anyone would agree that Iowa State and K-State are better than Baylor and Texas A&M.....
