I bet pitt to win DIV the last 4 years and finally cowher "appears" to have it rolling ... as long time fan I think Ill lay low a bit longer; not into chest thumping ... Pitt looks like a diff team, but they sure tubed for long time and I thought Cowher should go; not that i dont respect him, but the same old was looking old -- they really lucked out getting Ben and having Maddox go down, ironic how things work out in life

I went extremely small on Cleveland based on what led up to that game.....everyone was on Cleveland. I feel this game will be just the opposite. Cinci is finally playing some defense and may be able to keep the sleeping giant, sleeping for one week.

right now...simple fact...based on their peformance last 7-weeks...steelers are the best team in the nfl...
they didnt just squeek by the 2-prior BEST teams....[NE. AND PHILLY]...look at the stats...they totally dominated them.
they are on top of their game on both sides of the ball...
not saying they wont blow it in the playoffs..shit anything can happen, but at this point it will take a major-upset for them to go down.

i am definately a steeler supporter all the way but even before the NE and Philly game I looked at the cincy game as possible trouble.....it seems like every year cincy gives the steelers fits no matter what the records of the two teams are, that bastard carl pickens used to eat us alive, thankfully he is not there, but they do have some players that will give the steelers some problems....but then again the fata$$ bettis is able to run through the holes that the line is creating, so who knows....oh well enough rambling.....lean towards the points w/ steelers winning by field goal...
I don't really think any play is anti-steeler talent more mindset. Will the Steelers keep coming out every week sharp? Thats the question every week. HOWEVER this is a good spot to take the Steelers. Cincy is close to Pitts, looking at a small road trip on a holiday weekend. With the dreadful Redskins on the doorstep there is really no reason for the Steelers not to focus full effort on Cincy and smash them. I have been on the steelers almost every week, because I like their game plan. This game is no different. Looks at Cincy against Washington.... no way that team should have only won by 7!Still the Bengals play well at home!! They will be in full effect to knock off the steelers. IMHO, the defensive blitz scheme should get to Palmer. The CB's of Cincy are not strong enough to cover the WR for Pitt and the Steelers O-line should dominate. I'll be on the Steelers -4.5, the question is now that the bus has shown he can get it done, when does he start to get pissed as Duce resumes starting duty again? At this point in time I think the only thing that can kill the Steelers is the steelers.

Just like a lot of "experts" I thought the Buf/NE game last night was going to be close.....Bledsoe hadn't thrown a pick or been sacked in the past 2 games, they found a running game in McGahee, and have a top 5 defense, so they should be able to keep it close.........right??????............the Troy Brown interception was CLASSIC!!!!!! Quite a few lessons learned for me yesterday...........

Cincy does have potential weapons to create some scoring opportunities, unlike Cleveland. Philly one-dimensional with a poor rushing defense. New England banged up without Dillon and got behind so fast early didn't have a choice. My point RJ and CJ will keep Pittsburgh honest, therefore Cincy may be able to make a game of this. As SCS stated above, it is rare that Pittburgh makes it through sweeping both Ohio teams. This will be a no play for me on the side, maybe the over.
