Tigers should pull it out Fudd in their division but KC is hot at the right time and with better bullpen. If Miggy continues to be out, it could be a nail biting finish in the ALC!!

I think he means the AL championship, not the AL Central. It would be really tough for the Royals to make up that much ground. But if they can stay hot and get the Wild Card, I sure wouldn't want to face them. :toast:

Fudd do you mean AL Championship or AL Central div? If AL Chmp, the way Boston has done on the road and with the improvement of their bullpen, they will be awfully tough to beat. Texas offensively has been hot and cold, but their pitching staff with the A's will be keys to how they do. Tigers too eratic and their top pitchers are wearing down quickly.

2nd half hot teams typically are the ones that end up getting to the Championship, but we've seen in the NL St Louie got hot and went WC and won the WS and the SF Gigantes did the same thing. Consistency, balance and pitching will be keys to who does win the AL Championship, but Boston, Texas and Oakland should be the front runners, slight edge to Boston with the hitting and pitching. Plus Buch is back and if he stays healthy the rest of the season, Red Sox should win it. But who really knows?

Texas doesn't even enter into the discussion. Stick a fork in them. They have a good chance of not even making the playoffs. I like Oakland to win the AL. We'll see how KC does the rest of the way though. If they keep as hot as they have been, they have a shot.
