PPR LEAGUE

Ray Rice will play a major role in short-yardage and goal-line [situations] this year. We were just fortunate to have a guy like [former RB] Willis [McGahee], but this year Ray Rice will be in short-yardage and goal-line [situations] as well.

his stock is going thru the roof..

I expect Ravens to be playing for their playoff lives the last 3 weeks of the regular season..

I can't say the same for Minn...Hou..and Tenn. damn sure will not be playing for any damn playoff spot..I want my first choice to be geetin' it..not playing out the string and making tee times the last 3 weeks.

Yeah....Rice is a BEAST!!! I was leaning towards AP though, but do have some concerns with Minny. Will they be playing from behind a lot?? AP should put up good numbers, but so will Rice I believe too. Ricky Williams though could take away touches.

I personally think Minn. will stink it up again this season..

Our house is a Minn. Shrine so it's not like I don't see and hear about every friggin play from the wife who is from St.Cloud

They are going to ask McNabb to pass and what I saw last year was the remains of a tired old man at QB for Wash.

Silly not to take AP 1 2 3 OR 4 BUT IF i HAD those picks I would lean harder toward Rice every passing day ..

I have #8 in our league..will not even have to consider any of the top 4 RB's.. may get a shot at MJD if I am lucky from the 8 hole..

Ricky won't run for TDs: Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron shed some light on how he sees Ricky Williams being used now that he's on the team. While Cameron expects Williams to be part of the offense, he will not be the goal-line back -- that role will go to Ray Rice. "He gives us depth, first and foremost," Cameron told the official team website. "But, he gives us a proven playmaker, an outstanding runner, an outstanding receiver and an outstanding pass protector. So, we will be able to give Ray and the rest of the guys in the backfield a blow ? mix him in there. We have to see what kind of shape he is in, but he is familiar with the system. He knows this system, and he has played extremely well in this system. ... [but] Ray Rice will play a major role in short-yardage and goal-line [situations] this year."

Done some mock drafts...MJD hasn't been going early. You should be able to get him at #8 if that's who you're aiming at. Coming off the knee surgery people are doubting him........

if it is strictly standard scoring and you can't trade down like we can then your safest pick is Vick. ALL of Philly's scoring goes through him as well as giving you solid middle round RB numbers as well and is capable of blowing up at any moment. Personally, I hate the guy with every ounce of my being and would take my chances with someone else. I am hoping to get the tenth pick in my draft or somewhere in that area. However, in your case my pick would be either Foster, Johnson, P. Rivers.

I like A.P. and with McNabb there this year he will see far more screens and flat passes, however, Leslie Frazier is a far more dynamic personality then there departing stiff and the loss of McKinnie's fat ass does hurt them tremendously in a very tough defensive division in the run game as both Detroit and Chicago have targeted strong line play through free agency and the draft while GB speaks for itself. This will be the toughest division to run in that is why he is out for me.

Chris Johnson is an incredible talent with a very strong line and some young receivers and good hands himself. With the addition of Hasselbeck, who will flourish in this system because he has a real line and real running back now not to mention a very good young receiver in Britt.

Foster is a beast on a beast of a team that will win their division going away this season provided they remain healthy. With a seemingly unstoppable pass rush, dominant offense and the best big receiver in the game that isn't Megatron, is enough to put me on him for the first pick.

Hope that helps.
