I know I am. I miss that guy and his guts. Glad to have Mourning back at there and healthy though. I sorely missed him last year. I'm speaking as a fan here. The other guy I really enjoy watching is Shareef Abdur-Rahim. These are my 3 favorite players.

being a sixers fan, i am really looking forward to it. being 0-3 with 3/5 of the starting line out because of injuries that happened last year (except Snow), it is really frustrating. Once he gets back it will take a few games for him to get his usual quickness back. from what i've been hearing he will be back this week with mckie not far behind.

Not me. The guy is the biggest whiner in the history of sports. He is already too good to begin with...dont need to be begging and crying for a call from the refs every freakin play.

The biggest whiner in the history of sports? I would have to disagree with that. He wears his heart on his sleeve and has played through more injuries than any NBA player ever has that I know of. He looks like a thug, and he has done many "thuggish" things in the past, but for all out guttiness, I don't know anybody better.

If you remember Kelly Tripuka, especially the Notre Dame days, I think he was the biggest NBA whiner of all time. John McEnroe had to be the biggest whiner in the history of sports though.

This thread should be in general discussion -however I do want "the answer" back. I have him in roto hoops. He is an absolute warrior on the court (which I love) and an ass off the court (which I dislike). The 76ers stink without him....

I got two BIG words for you.... BILL LAIMBEER!!

And yes SixFive, I being from the midwest watched THE PUKE at ND and as a Piston with Isaiah Thomas. BUT, BIG BILL came along and took acting and whining to a new level.... another ND player btw... hmmmmm wonder what they teach those boys down there in South Bend.

I must be a lot younger than you guys cuz I dont remember most of the guys you've mentioned...but I still say Iverson is the biggest whiner I have ever seen. This guy sometimes yells at the refs even after they gave him a favorable call!

As far as John McEnroe goes...he may have whined a lot but at least his whining was fun to watch.

I can't wait either, simply because when I watch a Sixers game and he is in it I don't want to change my T.V. in case of I miss an off-balance acrabatic shot, an array of long fade away jumpers, finger rolls from the middle of the paint over 7 footers that touch nothing but net, high kisses off the glass, a dunk on a big guy, or a 25 point quarter. His attitude does have it's moments though.
