WATCHED TENN PLAY SOMEWHAT THIS SEASON. VERY, VERY AWFUL TEAM. WAY OVER-RATED! MIAMI SHOULD BEAT THESE CLOWNS UP, ESPECIALLY AFTER THAT BCS BUMPED MIAMI. YOU WILL SEE WHY MIAMI WILL BE #1 IN THE NATION SAT AT 3:30. THE ONLY THING THAT MAY KEEP THIS GAME FROM BEING A BLOW OUT, MIAMI CANT STOP THE RUN.......AWFUL RUSH DEFENSE. BUT TENN CANT SCORE, HELL EVERYGAME I WATCH THEY CANT EVEN HOLD THE F*CKIN PIGSKIN. OVER LOOKS GOOD TOO.

And to answer your question....most people see the world thru orange tinted glasses...day or night.

These glasses are as common now as Plastic Pink Flamingos were in yards here during th late 50s & early 60s..TN. had a good run and starting this year,... (much like GM cars will be living off it's past reputation).

Been watching TN since Johnny Majors playing days..Best coach they had in my opinion was Bill Battle (JMO) Best QB was Conridge Holloway...Pardon my spelling.....Best wide Reciever was Willie Gault....LB...Al Wilson......Def end Dale Carter?

BTW....Remember th Bama Game and th fake.....If had worked Bill might still be there?

Here's some insight...

This is an angle I heard on the radio today, and I'm going to do my best to remember the exact numbers. I might be off by a little but it should be pretty accurate for the most part...

TN is 55-3 in the month of November since 1985. This includes away games my friend, not just home games. Also, Rocky Top isn't exactly an easy place to play for vising teams. This is also TN's homecoming which has a lot of TN fans "looking through orange tinted glasses". Couple this with Miami's struggles as of late and you'll see why ppl are on TN.

I, like you, think Miami will cover here...but to answer your question, that is why a lot of ppl are on TN.

p.s. Was this a legitimate question, or were you just looking for an excuse to stir up some chit? :shrug:

but,i expected mrsports to get flamed by the vol faithful...instead you got some pretty thoughtful,interesting comments that were totally above board...i guess that`s why this place is what it is,and that other place down the road,is,well, what it is....a refreshing change ...i enjoyed the comments.

WELL I POSTED THIS AS AN OPINION POST RATHER THAN A STIR UP THE BOARD POST. WHEN I SAW GOOD CAPPERS SUCH AS VOL AND FLETCH, ECT ON TENN.... I ALMOST COULDNT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS READING. IF U EVER WATHCED MORE THAN 1 GAME THAT TENN PLAYED THIS YEAR, U WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THAT TENN DIDNT STAND A CHANCE. NO RESPECT LOST FOR THE BOARD OR CAPPERS, JUST WANTED TO SEE WHY TENN WAS A PLAY.
