Because they've already destroyed the non-union middle class.

It's for the same reason you don't go to the gas station that is charging $5.00 per gallon of gas, instead of the one around the corner charging $3.50 a gallon.

We are overpaying for government services, when the private market says we could pay a lot less.

Any idiot could see that unions in the public sector have no check and balances - and there is no legitimate bargaining and don't work.

Even FDR saw that AND Obama and the Federal Government see that (they don't have any bargaining on benefits/wages), with FDR being the democratic/liberal icon. But I guess both Obama and FDR are idiots for not having public collective bargaining, right?

Or is WI that idiots for allowing it? :toast:

Mags, your chilldlike innocence and naivety are priceless.

If you want to know why many private sector employees may have lost ground to their public sector counterparts, look no further than Enron, Worldcom, Tyco, Wall Street Hedgefund Managers, Bernie Madoff, toxic assets, derivitives, credit default swaps, junk bonds, CEO salaries, executive bonuses, outsourcing and all the other trappings of greed that have perverted capitalism and decimated the middle-class.

But instead of rebuilding the middle-class, handjobs like you want to tear down your fellow members of the middle-class who happen to work in the public sector because... "It's not fair!!!"... :142crying

Yep Real Issues like--

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2011/03/07/truth-obama-democrats-budget-cuts/

--the monthly budget deficit for February of $223 billion is larger than the $160.7 billion deficit for all of 2007, the last time we had a federal budget that was approved when Republicans controlled the House, Senate, and presidency.

Dems call it "Era of Responsibilty/paygo" I believe

:nooo:

--on added note -O was asked today about most recent flop on gitmo following last weeks flop on gay marriage- and just sang a few bars of--
"I saw the Light" and walked off. :SIB

Speaking of responsibility, did Bush include the war expenses in his budget like Obama is in his?

I understand. It's difficult to admit that our perverted form of predatory capitalism is inherently flawed.

It's much easier to conquer what is divided and turning the middle-class on itself, while certainly a bold move, ultimately only succeeds with the weak-minded among us.

I do understand.
