I thought the same thing, D2! I'm tempted to play the Rockies but will probably stay off. I wonder if Ryu is a "fly-ball" pitcher? Good luck today!!!:toast:

I looked into Ryu?s fb: gb stats and, if I am looking at it correctly, he is definitely a ground ball pitcher. So forget that as a reason for the low chalk.

Found this tidbit about Ryu in the Covers.com player info...

He hasn't fared well against Colorado in his career, though, going 4-7 with a 5.34 ERA in 12 starts. His numbers are worse at Coors Field where he is 1-4 with a 9.15 ERA in five starts. He gave up seven runs on nine hits (his worst marks of the season) in four innings in his June 28 start in Denver.

Good luck!!!

Just working from memory here, but didn't he get rocked the last time he pitched at Coors field, not too long ago? Could be wrong but that sticks in my mind for some reason.

Like Ed McMahon said many times..."You Are Correct Sir"!!! Ryu gave up 7 Runs on 9 Hits in 4 Innings of work back on 6/28/2019 @ Coors Field. Still his recent form, as well as Marquez, makes LAD the only play in this affair. Not much return on Colo at all(+110) & I'll take the Dodgers Line-up over the Rockies every day of the week & twice on Sunday.

Good Luck Today My Friend!!! :0074

This reminds me of one of my fondest Baseball memories. Back in the 80's the Braves were in Chicago so Skip Caray interviewed his Dad before the game @ Wrigley. His intro went like this..."Ladies & Gentleman I am honored to introduce a man who is fighting a losing battle w/senility, my Father Harry Caray"
