They were assured that their borders were be secure. Gaining independence after the breakup of the Soviet Union the President of the US convinced them to give up their nuclear weapons left by the Russians. Too bad because it is doubtful Putin would now invade a county w nuclear weapons. The President? Slick Willy Clinton.

Trump was just IMPEACHED for withholding support to Ukraine a couple years ago!

Compare that to Clinton making them give up nuclear weapons, Obama not sending them arms and removing European missile defense systems , Obama removing the Trump Russian sanctions, Biden refusing to stop buying Russian oil and stopping the Keystone pipeline which would have meant Putin could not use oil sales to Germany and US to fund his war. Most importantly we are now closer than ever to WW3. Because of Trump?
