Why didnt Florida just let Auburn score...dn by 1 with 3 min left???

Really the only chance you have is to just give up the td and keep some time on the clock and go down by 8 .............then try to score and go for 2.........

Even if Auburn doesnt kick the fg they would have only left about 20 seconds on the clock and thats if they only have 4 downs.......if they get the 1st down the games over anyhow.........

every now and then, you see that when a team is up by 1. remember it happening in the nfl. if a defense totally quits on a play, it kinda compromises the integrity of the game. but yeah -- your thought it correct. hard to let it happen at the 25 or 30. have seen it a few time on goalline type plays
