Why is the Public on GTOWN

Cant figure this one out.. People hitting GTOWN when they should be hitting the Cuse right?? Thinking of taking the cuse as a contrarian Home favorite? Insgiht appreciated..

Georgetown almost beat them the last time they played, and the last 5 or 6 meetings between these schools have all been very close. Georgetown is gaining a bit of confidence and have already beaten a ranked Pitt team and Nova on the road and didn't get blown out at UConn, either.

:shrug: I think the potential is there for Syracuse to get a scare.

everything you point to says this line should be a lot lower.. More like 4 or 5.. certainly not double digits. Hence the reason for taking syracuse on my end???

Possibly, but the Hoyas were getting 7 in Villanova on Saturday. The Cats are nowhere near the caliber of the Orange, and the Carrier Dome would be perceived as a more intimidating place to play, so this line was about where I expected it given those circumstances, and the outcome from Saturday.
