The NY/Bost line has moved from 6 down to 4'.
After the recent Knick games.....people MUST be believe'n they are due tonight in Boston.
However, the NY Knicks are a very bad bball team.
I do NOT like the way the Knicks are playing and here's why:
-NY has lost their last 5 games by:
5 to Mil
22 after they QUIT in Dal last Thurs
2 to Houston
11 to San An
9 at Bost back on Jan. 5
*As indicated above, the Knicks defense has gone AWAL.
-Dolan (CEO of the company owning the Knicks) accompanied the team on their Texas tour last week stating, "I mearly want the players to know who signs their paychecks."
*Even the boss man being more visible didn't help Knick play.
-Rumors abound that Chaney may not even last the season out as Knick HC.
*Rumors haven't sparked a fire in these Knicks either.
-This team is 4-13 under Chaney and they really do lack a "fire in their belly" to play with NBA intensity.
-About the only bright spot for the Knicks is Houston but he has been less than stellar on the defensive end of the floor in several recent games.
Houston
44 vs Mil <--a career high and NY still loses
12 vs Dal
28 vs Hou
22 vs San An
20 late time out vs Bost
-All other Knick players have been horrible with Spree leading the way in horrid play.
Spree
13 vs Mil
10 vs Dal
8 vs Hou
17 vs San An
15 last time vs Bost
-In the last game between these two at NY, Bost shot 40% and NY 35%. Bost out rbed NY 51 to 41 to win by 9.
-Tonight, NY might get Weatherspoon back after missing 23 games. I think he'll be very "rusty" at best.
-On the Celtic side of the affair Walker came back from his tendinitis hampered dismal 1-14 Det game on Friday night to score 23 vs Atl on Sat.
-Four days of rest ought to help Walker immensely.
-This game's huge line movement has scared me off a side prior to tipoff. Makes me think Boston -4' looks to easy and inviting by Vegas.
-If Chaney and the Knick players have any character left in 'em at all.......it'll show up on the defensive side of the ball tonight. Vegas wanting you to take Boston would tend to say we see some Knick defense tonight?????
-Also, long lay-offs by both teams (since Jan 12) and just plain "OFFENSIVE" bball by the Knicks have me on the under in this one.
-If the NY defense is a no show again, then Boston WAS the way to go here....which sets up a possible Boston HT play.
-->Play'n the Knicks/Celtics Under 181'
