Skip the rhetoric the attempts to rewrite history

once again--give us the #'s--spare us the bullshit--and most can figure it out.

Numbers look bad. Either way, the Soverieign Director @ S&P was very clear about the reasons for the downgrade.

You can slice it any way you choose, but the simple facts remain that both sides are at fault, and the person in charge of levying the downgrade (Chambers was his name, I believe) stated on CNN that the squabbling resulted in the downgrade. It was very clearly stated and I'm sure a youtube link can be posted to prove this.

The time to point the finger is over, my man. It is time to act in a bipartisan manner to corral spending and increase revenue to bridge this gap. Tax hikes are a measure that needs to at least be considered in order to bridge the gap without killing the economy.

I think the downgrade was inevitable but certainly poorly timed. They couldn't have picked a worse time and could have/should have IMO waited a month or so anyway--but there actually would never be a good time.

I agree with all except most tax hikes-and will opt for even those I don't agree with--after
they cut Medicaid and repeal healthcare reform--and promise not to add 23 illegals to the roles like they are proposing--otherwise it's like pissing against the wind IMO (see article below). I don't believe in robbing peter to pay paul.

Here's a wild card thrown in most are not considering--
