I'm making a play on Latvia +2.5 -122 today for reasons below. Good luck 
First off, quality of competition. Latvia played Canada in game 1 - a strong opponent - should prepare them for today. US played Slovenia in game 1 - will they be prepared for a better opponent?
Latvia plays strong D - trapping game and are used to the big ice. I expect some of their skilled forwards to take advantage of
Average US defense - they're a little slow.
Latvia trailed by 2 goals to Canada late in the 3rd and coach did NOT pull the goalie.
US has Canada on deck Thursday.
I expect Latvia to give US all they can handle and wouldn't be surprised to see them win the game outright - but I'll take the 2 goals and look for a 4-3 type US win.
