Tech wins big here. Thursday night in Blacksburg is hell.
Remember Clemson last year? The Tigers were 7-1, ranked #10, and had just pasted GT 31-7 on Primetime ESPN.
They treked to VT the next Thursday and got beat by three touchdowns.
The wheels are going to come off for BC and Matt Ryan on Thursday night and you better have your money on the Hokies.

Respect your opinion Big Papi but don't think BC is a fraud. However, neither one has played a particular tough schedule...so this one should be interesting.

BC leads in every category except pass defense. Know VT is notorious in these type of situations but BC is an experienced team that can deal with the pressure that they will be confronted with. The main difference I see in this game is we have an experienced and savy senior QB going against a possible star in the making(QB)...but he is still a freshman right now? GL on your play...:toast:

Not sure about this game but I still see this Virginia Tech team as the team that played at home within 10 points of East Carolina and 7 points against North Carolina. Both far inferior opponents. I also see this as the offense that struggled greatly against LSU and still has issues.
VT did beat a solid Clemson team on the road but dont expect Ryan to give near the amount of gifts to the VT defense that Clemson did. Also, I think the Clemson victory is overhyped. We all know Clemson bags it up about this time every year.

Who is gonna QB for VTech? probably won't know until near game time. Either way though,this game is the 16th time VTech has played a Thursday night ESPN game They are 13-2 overall in those games and 8-1 at home, kind of interesting that both of those losses were against BC **
But you don't see Boston College as the team that beat UMASS by 10 points? I understand Boston College is a good team but exactly who have they beaten?
