Louisville @ DePaul

This one is a little scary in the fact that Ellis Myles is out for Louisville, BUT they do get Marvis Stone back. The Cardinals have dominated this series winning 13 straight and the Blue Demons of Depaul of lost their last 3 games. I look for Louisville to get things going again as tourney time approaches. Look for Reece Gaines and Marvis Stone to out with Huge games and run Depaul right out of their own gym. Reece Gaines stepped up huge not only in his performance but with his leadership in the victory over East Carolina with both Stone and Myles out (over 18 points and 15 rebounds averaged between the 2). Gaines scored 30 in that game. Look for a very tough defensive effort from Louisville as well. Buying the half and getting Louisville giving up under 2 baskets is a gift IMO.

Michigan @ Penn St.

DeForrest Riley is now doubtful for Penn State, who even with him should struggle to keep pace with the Wolverines in this match-up. Mich. has won 3 straight vs the Nittany Lions including a 66-53 game in Ann Arbor earlier this year. They are only 2 games back from a Big Ten Championship and are playing for a higher seed in the Big Ten tournament. Penn St has lost 2 of their last 3 games at home and have lost their last 3 overall. They are 4-4-1 ATS as home dogs while Michigan is 1-0 ATS as an away favorite. I look for Michigan to play some really inspired ball that should result in a similar outcome to the game they played at Purdue where they controlled the entire game winning by 11. Expect Daniel Horton and LaVell Blanchard to come out strong.

LSU @ Mississippi

This was originally my favorite play on the board and I might still add units to it. Two teams going in totally different directions in this one. LSU has won 3 straight and 4 of the last 5 with the lone loss coming @ Kentucky (IMO the team playing the best ball in the country right now). The Tigers have covered an amazing 7 straight ATS and 8 of the last 10. They are coming off a HUGE CONFIDENCE booster victory AT Tenn, where they dominated winning 88-67. Their last 5 games have resulted in a win by 21, win by 31, win by 19, @Kentucky loss by 11, and a win by 19. Ronald Dupree and Collis Temple III have been nothing less of spectacular and now get an opportunity to get revenge on a Mississippi team that beat them on their home floor earlier this year by 10 points. They also get a Mississippi team that has lost 9 straight failing to cover the spread 8 of the last 9 times. A team that has also loss its last 4 games at home and is 4-3 ATS as a home favorite. LSU wins this by double digits. I put it as a 4 unit play to add some luck to it as well since 4 unit plays seem to be my niche so far.

Seton Hall @ Pitt

This almost looks like an early Christmas Gift from Vegas. Giving 14 points to one of the Hottest teams in college hoops. Seton Hall is playing great basketball winning 9 straight overall and 8 straight conference games. They are only 1.5 games back from Pitt and Syracuse and with a win tonight will sweep Pitt for the regular season, own the tie-breaker vs Pitt and stay with Cuse for the Conference lead. Pitts last lost was @ Seton Hall 73-61 losing both halves to the Hall. Pitt has won 4 straight and has not lost in their new arena (21 home winning steak). I think Pitt gets revenge and wins the game but by single digits. I would love more then anything to see the upset and may play a small 1 unit on the ML for the hell of it!

UAB @ Cincy

This Cincy team has cost me more money then any this year, and its because I have wagered with them thinking they would come out from whatever this apparent funk is that they have been in off and on this year.....Now I have come to the conclusion that I have had them OVER RATED all year. They are a poor 3-8 ATS as home favorites, 2-6 ATS as Double Digit favorites, lost 4 of the last 5 ATS and have lost SU 2 of their last 4 games. They play very sloppy most of the time having trouble keeping control of the ball. I still think Vegas makes money on them though because their are probably more people like me then not that over rate this team especially in the conference that they are in. Well, tonight I taking the 12 point gift with the UAB team that has covered the number 4 straight and 5 of the last 6. UAB had won 3 SU before their loss @ Marquette on Saturday and its not totally out of the question for them to some in to Cincy and take this game from a very in consistent Bearcat team.

Ohio State @ Northwestern

I like this game a lot as well but will only put 2 units on it because you never know which Buckeye team will show up. They have lost 2 of the last 3 but have won 8 straight vs. Northwestern with 3 of those coming at Evanston. They defeated NW 65-52 in Columbus earlier this year and have had a WEEK to prepare for tonights match-up. NW has nothing more to play for as they can only finish as high as 2nd to last. They are 2-4 ATS as home dogs in conference winning against Purdue and my Hoosiers (both who have had struggles on the road). Buy the half allowing me to give up less then a bucket, Give me Jim O'Brien and a week to prepare for a Big Ten Bottom Dweller anyday, this guy is known for preparing teams.

Thats all folks.

I was leaning towards Rice +7.5, App St -7, Furman -7, and St Joes -2 in the unranked home fav over a ranked team theory but had to limit the plays and decided to pass on each! I also feel like Bama in the 1 half would be a good play, but passing as well!
