Well, go figure I couldn't get on the computer Monday night to post and end up going 3-0. It seems like it always works out that way. I AM SORRY! Passed all together on College last night and couldn't get to a computer before 6pm to post my opinion on the Hoosier game. I didn't play it and wouldn't have either way but I know that my insight helps some people even if I don't play the game. As a matter of fact, UNTIL IU loses again I will not be wagering on their games for or against, but I will continue to post my opinions and how I think the game will play out. Reason for not wagering on their games all together.......unfortuanately I do consider myself extremely supersticious (spelling?) when it comes to Indiana Basketball.....Actually very supersticious!!! To some the ol' supersticious thing might seem a little elementary. Others will understand. Either way, my passion for this team began way before I was born thanks to my grandfather, then my mother and father, and now my entire family leads to many supersticions when talking IU Basketball. Well, they are on a 5 game winning streak now....Sit atop the BIG TEN standings alone (atleast until the final of tonights Wisconsin game is determined)......And here it is "haven't lost a game since I stopped wagering on or against them." Well, you may ask yourself, whats that have to do with anything, you are 9-0 on Indiana games and the opinions on the games you haven't played would have resulted in wins as well BUT some of those ATS wins in my 9-0 record were games that I wagered against the Hoosiers and the fact is still that they haven't LOST SU since I stopped placing wagers on games that they are involved in! So until their winning streak ends, no wagers for me on IU games, but I will continue to post my opinions on what I expect to see from the Hoosiers in their games.
This Saturday at 8:00 pm Eastern time will be a dandy! Hoosiers AT Michigan State. The game should be awesome to watch as it will be televised on ESPN for their 50th Anniversary. Both teams will wear throw back uniforms and ESPN will do the game "in a throw back style." Should have the picture, broadcast, etc all done as if it was being shown on ESPN Classics. I can't wait!!! This team has gotten a much needed Spark from Senior Center George Leach. The team is playing very hard defensively and each of the players seems to be better understanding their individual roles (Bracey Wright is getting there slower then I would like but gettting there). They are playing more as a team and are starting to do the things that coach Mike Davis has been preaching from day one. (I can back him up there as I am fortuanate enough to get to attend practices when I am in Bloomington). They were able to build SOME depth while Leach was out with an injury. Everything that all Hoosier fans should be excited about......BUT, I personally think we are overachieving right now....something that Mike Davis has proven to be very good at getting from his players, with time that is! Hopefully we will continue to do so!!!!
Back later with tonights card. Capping as we speak!
GO IU!!!!
