I read today that the way Kellen Winslow's contract is set up he stands now to lose $5.4m, as his contract has an escalator clause that states if he plays in something like 35% of his team's offensive plays, this $5.4m escalator kicks in. Is this true?
If so that's a tough break (no pun intended) Held out for a better deal and lost out in the long run, the NFL is a crazy game.
