Yup...I tell ya what. I never thought so many games in basketball were decided by 1 or 2 points. But it is really making me secind guess giving those points. Georgia last night, Wisky tonight. I wonder if it would be smarter to take the money line in these situations??

Harris (G) for Wisky had a layup, the guard from Illinois basically ripped one of his arms away from the ball - the official had to call it, it was no more than 5 feet away from him, and the official had perfect position...
I lost $$$ on Wis tonite also, but look at the bright side..

I had to listen to it on internet radio out here in SD, but I graduated from Wisconsin last year, and I am pumped as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big Ten champs baby!!!!!!!!!!

run clock down missed forced shot, Ill bucket... 59-55
turnover on an inbound pass Ill layup... 59-57
another clock run down miss, miss put-back bunnie
Cook for another jumper...59-59 20 seconds left.
Then the ref makes a call at .04 and the clown of course makes the second.
All the Cheeseheads needed was 1 basket or 1 stop the last 2 mins and the foul fest was on......NOPE.

wisconsin ML in one parlay
and illinois +3.5 in the other parlay
I won both parlays but still am depressed
it hurt me to see my favorite team illini to lose like that
to all you wisconsin fans out there illinois is still the better
team. If this game was in champaign we would have
slaughtered you. i hope for a rematch in the big ten tourny

Maybe Illinois is the better team, but... they already played in Champaign, and Illinois won that game, although I think "slaughter" is a strong word for how that game ended up. I'm sorry to say, but you can't have both games against one team at home. Wisky had this game at home, and the Badgers won this one. Yes, if this game had been played there, Illinois would've won. But if this game was played again at the Kohl Center, Wisconsin would win again. So don't get all sour grapes. This conference was won on the road, and the Badgers had the better road record. We're Big Ten champs, and you can't take that away. You still have a very good team.
