What is so bad about the East Bracket? Other than G'Town and Texas, none of these teams would scare me if I'm UNC.
WASU is a fraud... they snuck up on people early, but they won't make it past this weekend. A UNC/Georgetown Elite 8 matchup would be a classic.
The South has excellent 1-3 seeds in Ohio State, Memphis, and Texas A&M. All 3 of these teams can easily make the Final 4 IMO. By far the most top heavy region IMO.
The West features Kansas as a #1 seed, but they could have a tough time getting past the opening weekend as well. Niagara can fill it up and should be a #14 seed. A 2nd round matchup with Kentucky or Villanova is far from easy as well. I think these teams should have been seeded a little higher. UCLA and Pitt are tough, but I wouldn't expect the Panthers to get past the Sweet 16. Kansas cuts down the nets and goes to the Final 4 for the first time in 4 years.
Midwest - I think Florida got the best region IMO. Wisky is a freaking joke. This team could only beat Michigan State by 2 points on Senior Day:142smilie :mj07: Oregon and Maryland are playing good ball right now, but Oregon would get destroyed in the front court and the Twerps appear to be coming back to earth after losing to Miami. Keep in mind, Maryland wasn't even a bubble team a month ago and they have overachieved lately.
Wazzu is a fraud but Texas and gtown were the last 2 teams carolina wanted to see. And vice versa. Texas as a 4 in any other bracket would be in better shape. Of course carolina does get two home games to start.
I was on a plane and just now reviewing brackets but i think the 1s are in better shape than usual. I think OSU and Florida get to Atlanta almost for sure. I like Gtown to win it all.
Florida, Kansas, Ohio State, North Carolina, Georgetown, UCLA, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, Memphis, and Texas have the top odds in the order listed. I'm hoping my Jayhawks are able to cut down the nets in Atlanta:00hour
