Marshall has had their troubles.
But one which stands out more than any other is their rebounding stats.
Rebounding is important because it affects second chance points.
In their L 10 games, Marshall has been outrebounded 6 times w/ 1 tie.
On Jan 4, West Mich marched into MARSHALL as a 5 pt road fav and was soundly clobbered, 66-54!!!.
Why?
Because MARSHALL OUT-REBOUNDED West Mich, 42-26 !!!
In their L 7 games, Marshall is 1-6 SU / 0-6-1 ATS.
Not good, but in this matchup, I think things may take a turn in Marshall's favor.
Western Michigan has lost/no covered in their L 2 games.
But more importantly to me is they were favored in both games and lost both of these by wide ats margins (-17 ats / -15 ats).
I do not like WEST MICH'S L 2 loss/no covers by wide ats margins and I do like Marshall's previous win/cover against WMich and their huge rebounding edge in that game.
I like my chances with Marshall +13'
