Nevada -2.5 over Morehead ***
Have no idea why I'm doing this game...if you watched their last game...it was so bad...and I complaining and I won 4*'s...both coaches need to get their act together because your guys really suck...you adjustments were so bad...Morehead coach gets a Tech for a stupid play...replay made it even worse when the refs made the right call....Morehead shot 1-16 from the 3.. of the 17 shots 16 had open looks...wasn't the Pack defense... Nev had 21 turnovers...unreal....4 of them were dribble steals...I'm watching the Nevada gds. extending the ball as they dribble...as I'm saying to myself they need to keep the ball closer to there bodies..boom..ball gets stolen...unreal pass trying to get it to Oliver...4 or 5 just intercepted in the post...a 3 on 1 break..ally opp but went out of bounds...with 2 minutes to go in a 3 or 4 pt game...a cross pass hit a player in the face because he wasn't looking..the ball went off the Nev players head...a Nev player caught the errant pass off the head and made it..not sure if the Nev player who got hit in the head got an assist..Nev missed 15 Ft's and in the last 5 minutes of a close game Nev only made 2 straight FT's...they missed the front end of 1 and 1's...Only Fenner hit 2 in a row and with 30 seconds left someone else did...Nev top player Oliver was in foul trouble..had 3 fouls with 13 minutes left..his 4th was an over the back foul trying to get an offense rebound...when he had no chance what so ever...
Ugly game,terrible coaching,3/4 of the players have little basketball IQ...and I won...
Nev is 15-3 at home..10-1 ats...they are ranked 18th in rebounding and Morehead killed them on the bds...no boxing out..Marrero the big kid from Morehead had 13 pts and 12 bds..most of them offensive put backs..
Fenner had 26 pts...Oliver needs to play big tonite because he spent more time on the bench...
One big advantage....they did have a big crowd in a "white out"...so home court should really help...
