Makes me wonder if the guy was still hurt from last year.

Just my opinion but I think the guy was hurt more than anyone knew last year in the playoffs and the regular season and then he doesnt take 1 snap in pre-season........

Now I know todays injury probably has nothing to do with his past unjury but you have to wonder if a QB's mobility is hampered then he surely become more prone to injury...........

If the coaching staff knew this, then they would have gone out and got a QB who could step in and play. This is a multi-million $ business not a lawn mower company on 2nd and 5th avenue. You have gotta give some credit to the doctors, strenght and conditioniong coaches and what is going on w/thier players....they get paid plenty for this.

Yeah I see your point .....BUT maybe they really think Cassel is (was) ready to play........I mean really its not like they have tried to ungrade the backup position the last few years..........

Dont you think its kind of weird Brady never played at all in pre-season???

And I know
Manning didnt either but he came off of surgery.........

Personally a big blow to the NFL.
No matter if your a Pats fan or not ,he will be sorely missed.

Spreads will be altered,and you have figure will take some pressure off the Pats regardless of fact that Cassel is somewhat unproven(filled in pretty good yesterday,13-18-152 yds. 1td. scoring drives of 99 and 80 yds.)
