WOODBINE

R4 #7 DREAM LOVER (8/1 ML) - Got roughed up in her last trip, but look for this filly to be better today. Love the jockey/trainer combo of Ramsammy and Silvera.

R7 - VALEDICTORY STAKES - 1 3/4 MILES - $125,000
# 7 ENCINAS (7/2 ML) - Kiaran McLauglin shipper could be in good spot to take down vulnerable favourite in Pelligrino.

R8 #4 HOME IN TWO (12/1) - Don't get many Casse pupils at this price, so worth a shot based on pedigree and nice progession of works.

Like everything you have here. Let me pop a couple for exacta sake. I don't see Ft Erie anywhere. Where does all this stock and Jockey/Trainers go from here?
Like #6 Love Dubai 4/1 and Chantal Sutherland's ride @12/1. The distance is perfect for the 7

Hey Dan.....It looks like the 7 was a turf specialist going a mile and a half trying to go 14 furlongs on the synthetic surface......

A lot of these horses will be rested for the winter in the snow at local farms here. Fort Erie closed up a while ago, but you will see some of this stock turn up at Tampa Bay throughout the winter. Those from the Woodbine operations that don't stay up here to toboggan for the winter will mostly go to Fair Grounds (Emma Jayne Wilson got a few live mounts down there last winter). Some of the more expensive operations will go to southern Florida, with some of the connections trying them at Gulfstream, or letting them play in the sunshine for the winter (Watch for the odd Roger Attfield trained horse to make some noise at GP).
Personally, I like to watch for my favourite WO jockey, Emile Ramsammy to light the board up in California the odd time throughout the winter months.....

My thought processing was close. For one, K.Mc honed his training chops in Dubai where most races are long distance and on grass. Encinas is owned by a large Arab outfit Hq'd in Dubai and in K.Mc's barn you'd better be able to run far. He was only about less than 4 lengths away. The 7/2 to 9/2 overlay was a turn off in that field.
Thanks for the informative post, fun day
