#9 Zark... Much better with the addition of Lasix but had a tough first up trip for close to 3/8 of a mile and paced gamely to the wire. I thought enough of the effort to play this very well bred youngster tonight despite the 9 hole. Should be a good price.

Should add that Urbanite Hanover is classy and will be hard to beat in there.

Urbanite wins easily. Zark left out of the 9 hole , was parked past the quarter pole while gaining the lead at 25-1. But he had nothing left and backed up in the lane to be well beaten. Still, this is a guy to watch and probably only needs a decent trip to score and soon.

I have a horses to watch list for woodbine that has about 6 horses on it and 3 are racing tonight. The other two have similar profiles but like Daniel Semilu in the 11th much more off the claim. Both were very hard used in last and need a trip to be more effective tonight. Both should carry attractive odds to the post with them.

#1A but both pats of the entry go for a strong local outfit. The price should be in the 2-1 range or so.

$10 W&P $20 to show... The hope is both finish in the top 3 which would strongly bolster the show money. This is often a decent angle if one thinks both of an entry will be in the top3.

took a huge mile from Take My Picture to beat him. he was a good second though, hope you turned a couple tickets. Speaking of running second, six of my last eight flat plays have been second. five of the six at double digit or close odds and three of them beaten a neck or so. it is a maddening game at times.

Thanks, but I need a darn winner. I have seconditus right now which is keeping me from a nice day.

The Mountaineer play cost me good tonight. There were four horses in that race from the Cox family representing three of their trainers. In a bit of irony from everyday life, my cox sucked and twice.

Still, a meager profit of $36 thanks to the two shots at Woodbine. I feel good about keeping the night in the black after dropping the first $70.
