Calling over 1800 games over 40 years Woody Durham died today.
I listened to quite a few of those games. As a Duke fan I was not pleased with a lot of the results.
Gary Dornburg at State, Woody and Bob Harris for Duke would be the voices we heard on transitor radios as we would would follow our favorite local teams in the 60?s and 70?s.
Not many were on TV but you knew where to find them on the radio.
Roy Williams was very close to Woody.
There is no telling how UNC will play tonight. I do not think this is a game to play for any large amount.
This is a big loss for the UNC family.
