Nostromo - like the look of all of those

They add up to about 40 units; all are one unit plays, boring old me strikes again

Most are at Pinnacle which is also where I'm running a lot of my MLB experiment so that's definitely my best-funded book at present....

Giddyup, Anders!

Thx for your help.

One question: on the dual-bets (ie, Sweden vs England), are u playing each half for effectively 1/2 a unit? Or 1 full unit each? Just want to make sure here.

GL, mate!

Ireland?

Ireland?

Anders:

Is Ireland still worth a shot at +315 w/o Keane? Just wondering if that suspension changes your thinking at all?

Actually, the latest I heard is that the govt is trying to revoke Keane's suspension and get him back. ???

Any change on this front?

usa 2nd round

usa 2nd round

anders,

i have to tell you, i smile and laugh every time i see the quantity of wagers you make. i've been following your polyesters for bases at the other sight that you post and it's interesting. i am a big fan of polyesters, especially in college football. never capped bases but from my time at madjacks it seems to be one of the better sports to wager on and i have capitalized on some coattails here. i've only capped football, baskets and soccer and can't wait for the cup.

call me "the stupid american soccer guy", but i like the usa's chances to make the second round. bruce arena is a genius, who has had success at every level, and for the first time ever we have more than one pure striker. for the last few years, mcbride was the only true finisher at the international level, but now it will be interesting to see who starts up front - mcbride, mathis, or wolf( mcbride is strong and should start; exceptional in the air; but mathis and wolf played at univ. of s. carolina together and know each other so well. i look for mcbride and mathis to start with wolf coming in as a sub). our supporting cast at midfield is the best it's been as well ( look for john o'brian to make a name for himself this cup). our back four are suspect, but keller and friedel are tested and good. our trump card is arena. he recognizes the usa's strength and weaknesses and designs his game plan to beat the better team, in which case could arguably be every side the usa faces in the first round.

but with the international political scene as it is, and the embarrassing results the usa had in france, i look for some favorable calls to go our way; in the hopes the usa makes the second round.

in the big scheme, i don't like to incorporate politics with capping, as it takes a back seat to the real world, but hey, every edge helps, right? regardless, i am on it as well.

let the games begin.

good luck.

CTG _ at that price I still give them a shot. Def lose a lot without Keane, don't expect McCarthy will have him back. But Germany have real problems too and Ireland are a great "dog" team.

Marco - I sometimes wonder about my wagering sanity too  :D

But I keep making $$ :D

I like the US to sneak thru too; have taken them to make the 2nd rd at $2.75; look out for Landon Donovan

Have had a few more bets - whooaaa, big surprise that :p :moon:

Adding:

Outright: Italy $7.50
Brazil $9

Denmark topscorer: Ebbe Sand $3.75 x 1 unit
Jon Dahl Tomasson $3.75 x 1 unit

Head to Head: Italy -133 o Brazil
Portugal -117 o W Germany

Top Sth American team: Brazil +125

Total Goals: 161-180 +135

Total Red Cards: u19 -111

Number of Goals Scored:

Belgium u5 -125 (2 units)
exactly 5 +400 (1 unit)

Cameroon o5 +110

Ecuador u3 -117

W Germany u7 -127

Paraguay u4 +125

Poland u5 -125

Rep Ireland u5 -117

Saudi o3 +210 (1 unit)
exactly 3 +350 (1 unit)

Senegal o3 +210 (1 unit)
exactly 3 +350 (1 unit)

Sth Korea o3 -111

Tunisia exactly 3 +400 (1 unit)

To Win Group:

Group A: Denmark $10 (half unit)

Group B: Spain -185 (2 units)
Already played Slovakia $12 (1 unit)

Group D: Portugal -163 (2 units)
Sth Korea $10 (half unit)

Group H: Japan +225 (1 unit)

Guess that'll be all til the action starts. I don't expect to play too much more during group stage apart from some totals...

but we'll see about that ;)

GL all :)
