I will admit that I am not much of a baseball bettor. The day to day grind is just too much for me in the regular season. I do dabble in the playoffs and have done relatively well this year. This means that I have watched a decent amount of baseball, though I rarely ever watch a whole game. I am thankful that I can watch multiple Tvs at home at one time. I am making this play simply based on watching the postseason.
Boston - Series -160
I typically like to just bet the individual games, but I think this number is too good to pass up. I think the Yankees and Astros would have beaten the Dodgers in the post season. The Boston lineup appears to be the complete opposite of the Dodgers. They get key hits in 2 out situations and get runners home when they are supposed to, while the Dodgers struggle mightily to score. That is enough for me to like this series price. I simply do not think the Dodgers can score with the Red Sox especially with a healthy Sale and Price pitching much better. Can the Dodgers bat come to life? Maybe, but the trend is your friend and they are not hitting. The Red Sox were the best team in baseball all year and I see no reason they do not take this in 5 or 6 games.
