After watching Buffalo destroy UCF it is easy to see who the Worm is playing this week.

I said in a thread earlier in the week that I would play against these guys till they get me again so..

Their Defense is the most horrid D I have ever seen in College football in person...

Take N. Illinois -17 for 10 unit Smash

worm...we are pretty much alone on this one....many solid guys here feel that a mac road favorite of over 2 td`s going down to florida is a bad situation.....

and that is an excellent issue....well worth consideration...

i dug pretty deeply into this game....i feel as though having george o`leary as coach influences opinion on cent fla a bit.....and the fact that this HAD been a very solid program....i wondered to myself why this solid program seems to have deteriorated so drastically of late...giving up 45 pts to buffalo...who threw the ball a total of 7 times last week makes you wonder...

but, what i`ve found is that this club had a handful of scholarship players not show up in the spring...they are 12 scholarship players under the ncaa maximum.....

they also don`t field the considerable speed that florida based teams usually possess....from what i read, they only have 3 players that run at least a 4.5 40.....

not to say we`ll cover this inflated number...their qb moffett put up solid numbers last week and they have a pretty solid back(haynes)......

i really think n.ill. concentration level plays a huge part in this one...and with it being qb haldi`s second game back,i`m expecting more of what happened last week.....this cent fla club may be a bit undermanned this year....they certainly aren`t deep...they give up big yardage on the ground...granted playing west va and wisky tends to inflate those stats...but,buffalo had considerable success, also...

but,we could be way wrong....i paid -130 to get this down to -16 early on......

maybe we`re wrong...but i just think that n.ill. is really hitting their stride...horvath was inconsistent..turned the ball over way to much...haldi is the linchpin of a very balanced offense....

we`ll see...whatever happens,i respect the opposing opinions.....these guys are solid....i just have to ride with my own conclusions.....

now,it`ll probably end up 38-20 cent fla.....lol....

g.l. to us...

GardenW--I listened on my Walkman radio while sitting in the stands at the UCF/Buffalo game and I heardv the very goood announcers talking about UCF's injury problems, their players playing positions they never played before and how like you said the coach is really about recruitng for the yeras to come in Conference USA which is where they are moving to next year.....N.Ill rolls

GL with the play Worm, but I'm on the other side again here...as much as I don't like going against your Smash's!! Especially coming off a loss last week...this makes me nervous, BUT eventhough last week CFla got pretty much blown out, they DID statistically dominate that game which I think will show up this week in the scoreboard. This is just way too many points here I feel....N.Ill probably wins, but not by that many IMO.

I can't deny that N' Ill looks tons better than UCF ,but damn, I sure hate laying points on the road and In this instance its a whole lot of points. I can't pull the trigger here but I hope you get the money.

Maybe the Bulls are just a tad bit better than you think :scared
