Heres the story...........married for the last 5 years (happily) with 1 3 yr old son.........

Was surfing and ran across a home health care service in another state........

On the site was a picture of a woman and her husband who ran the service. How do I know it was her husband????

Because its the same girl I would have probably married 20 years ago........we broke up and she married him a few years later.........

We kept in touch for a few years but fell out of touch when she moved about 1991.............

Have not corresponded since.............

Is it improper for me to email her and see how things are going??
I know my wife would be pissed??

But to me she is also like a good friend I have not seen in years???

Also I could possibly be emailing her and her husband could be opening up the email??

Dont really know what to do but you can imagine my reaction when I open up a webpage and see a girl I was in love with many years ago.........

One things for sure is the internet has sure made it a small world........

If he answers just say.... fawk you bitch and hang up.

If she answers say..... Helloooo Baaabbbbyy !

address the email to the both of them .........this could be considered appropriate.

Dear Sue and John:

Hope everything is well. Sue, I saw your picture in etc etc etc...........I'm married to the love of my life. I hope you two are as happy as me.......etc etc etc ................this is innocent in my book.

How could your wife not love that..............................unless you still want to bang her...:142smilie

Before you write to her consider what is the BEST thing that could happen by sending the email? The BEST thing that could happen is that she would send back an equally inoccuous email. This ain't worth the risk.

I know my wife would be pissed??

Then don't blame her when she does...

I keep in seldom contact with a few of my ex-girlfriends who are now just friends, but my wife is fully aware of everything.

She had a minor problem with the "idea" of it, but after we discussed it she was okay with it. If she ever said stop because she was uncomfortable I would.

My marriage is way more important to me than being friends with an ex.

i remember i once found a shoebox stuffed with cash under my bed......it also contained 2 eggs...

i could understand the cash but the eggs were a mystery to me....i asked my wife about the eggs and she confessed that she had been unfaithful and each time asked the man to give her an egg....

i admit that my feelings were hurt but twice in 30 years was not too much to bear.

then i asked about the cash and she said, "every time i got a dozen eggs, i sold them".......

/o.k.,i`ll stop..

Would it be all smooth with you Mav if your wife was in the same position?

From the woman's perspective:

I see no problem with it if your relationship is sound and you're completely open and honest with your spouse. My other half is well aware that I post here and that my ex does also. I don't hide what I post nor are my passwords secret.

If you don't have trust in your relationship, there really isn't much of a relationship, IMHO.

She still talks to one of her exs..........funny thing is it has never bothered me since she is married to me........................

Never really been the jealous type..........to many hrs in a day to keep an eye on everything so I believe a person really has no control over someone elses actions
