CNN had highest rating of all election night coverage. I thought a non cable news net work would have done that. The reguler NBC was 2nd.

On Wolf Blitzer I think that's how you spell it. On his Sunday show when he was talking with Ted Turner who started CNN many years ago. He has new book out and was there pushing it of course. Wolf brought out this chart from ??? I don't remember name. it showed coverage rating from election night. CNN/NBC/CBS/FOX/MSNBC I believe was top 5. And he was talking how far they had come since the 80's. And my wife just told be she thinks this was on Saturday. I was sure it was Sunday Morning. Maybe both? I took note because. Cabel News has growen. But I did not guess it would have highest number on election night. In any case some where maybe USAToday there has to be info.

as i previously said dave...i don't believe it unless i see the numbers....i think its very hard to beat the networks during an event like the elections...

Yes I did search and saw that also ABC was 1st. CNN second. I have a hunch chart Wolf held up was for complete night. The rateing I see for ABC was for the important hours of 9 to 11? I see another one where they said Fox came across as in morgue. I wonder why that was.

Brit Hume reminds you of a funeral director under the best of cirumstances. That night, his disposition was downright comical.

I think Brit Hume was taking a shot everytime they called a state for Obama. I've never seen a newsman act like that.
