I've just been reading about this lawsuit filed by Lederer, Duke, Ferguson, Raymer, etc. against the World Poker Tour.

They say that they are being prevented from playing in these big money tourneys because the WPT requires them to sign a form that allows the WPT to use their likeness in any way they see fit which the players feel is unfair and potentially against their current contracts (I think all of them are with Full Tilt). They're suing for damages also. Don't understand how they can sue for damages?? I guess their thought is that the contract form is illegal and therefore since they didn't play, they didn't have a chance to win?? How can you predict how much money you would have won had you played??

Seems silly to me on the surface. Any thoughts?
