got this emailed to me, FWIW on Buckeyes/Spartans game

Michigan State at Ohio State (12:00 ET):

Michigan State was 'stunned' by Michigan last week as the 27-20 final is not indicative of how 'soundly' they were beaten by the Wolverines. The Spartans visit Columbus this Saturday where the defending National Champs have won 14 straight! Ohio State 'escaped' Happy Valley last week with a 21-20 win over pathetic Penn State. The Buckeyes actually trailed 20-3 in that game and needed the help of a TERRIBLE call by the officials (so what else is new Joe Pa?), to grab the one-point win. Last year, Ohio State ended its season with SIX of its last seven wins coming by a TD or less and in 2003, FIVE of the team's eight wins have been by a TD or less! Even after allowing Chris Perry to run for 219 yards against them last Saturday, the Spartans rush defense is allowing just 101.2 ypg on the ground so don't expect the Clarett-less Buckeyes rushing attack to find much running room. Krenzel was hurt in last week's win and although he's probable for this game neither he nor McMullen give Ohio State much of a passing 'threat'! Smoker (MSU QB) had gone more than 200 passing attempts between interceptions before throwing one on the game's final play last week and along with RB Jeron Hayes presents the Ohio State defense with a much more balanced attack than Ohio State's offense poses vs Michigan State's defense. Michigan St has covered SEVEN straight games in Columbus and if you think they'll come out 'flat' after the Michigan-loss, note that MSU has gone 12-5 ATS the game after Michigan the last 17 years! Take the points with the Spartans.
