I’ve bided time avoiding going against arz all post-season… but bruce B and texas had a HELL of a road here.

It’s really hard to get to the WS. Even harder in back to back years. Arz has laid out mil, lad and phil, and the pitching is for real, but i didnt have ATL, LA, or philly in the WS (had a future on SF @25:1 from may but thats another story).

Texas has had this path:
- losing the div gm 162
- going to tampa and balt
- 7 games vs the defending chmps and taking a knockout blow but taking the fight after a wild swinging series

i handicap championship series based on the team that’s leveled the best of the best en route- taking down the 3 teams texas did is something you won’t see often, esp w/o home field adv.

Analogy - super bowl in Feb. KC quietly some said “eeked” by with small margins of victory while philly routed garbage teams.

i do think we’ll see some runs in the series but not on the over tonight

What a game what a win.

Didnt post this b/c no one’s going to follow / care BEFORE the game about this, but a couple 0.5 unit plays on Extra innings. Rangers bat v pitchr stats vs Seawold (sp?) were 5 or 6 HR in under 60 PAs (lifetime not 2023–not sure he pitched against texas in 2023) and that was enough to take a long shot - no extra inn games in ‘23 playoffs so far, we were due (and i got lucky - in case it sounds like i don’t realize that)

+8x mostly b/c of the EXT bets, but i risked 27x on the Rangers series win and -1.5 gm spread, hard to go crazy on -150 or deeper ML’s on single games, the series was mispriced the but each game is expensive so playing the ‘long’ game
