Was at Richard's 1st career start. From what he did that day vs Texas' monster bats, he's gonna throw strikes and make Minny hit the ball. He works very fast and is oblivious to giving up the occasional long ball. Line is short as hell here with the SP's involved and their records, the Wsox on the road (at Minny no less), the Wsox not so good vs lefty starters, and Minny's ability at home. The Wsox played their worst baseball in the field during Richard's debut so they maybe have a better effort tonight. (Also keeping last nights shitting of the bed in the rear view mirror) The big key to this game will be how shitty will the Wsox shitty defense be? WSox got Floyd going tomorrow and he's been total junk of late. Lucky for him the team has bailed him out a lot but he's been getting hit very hard. WSox lose this one and they could lose the series. WSox pen, while Linebrink is out and they have stumbled of late, hasn't been overused of late and can come in if the kid falls apart early. Although they have only a few ab's vs Perkins, the WSox bats have had some success and should tonight coming off being shut out.
