I don't consider myself a gun nut, but I do think this is a terrible tragedy that shouldn't have happened. I don't see any need for a regular citizen to be shooting automatic weapons.

ya nevermind a 8 year old child. This kids father is a doctor, or specifically director of emergency room doctor at one of the biggest hospitals in New England. Feel great about taking my kid into someone with that rationale of thinking going on.

I fully agree with Sixfive.
Just another feather in the hat for the anti-gunners out there.
Gun shows and Shooting shows will be a thing of the past before long.

can you imagine how the dad feels? I read about this a couple days ago, and my heart sank.

I believe the dad is getting WAY more than he deserves for being stupid.

All in all, that is why you've got to have a federal license to own an automatic. I've shot a couple before and they can get out of hand real quick.

I just can't imagine what the dad and the "trained professional" are going through!
