I don't understand why they didn't bunt I know they already had the winning run in scoring position but by bunting it gives you more options to score.
Gordon hasn't been their closer for some time now. If you are handicapping their games you should know that.

Doesn't matter what I cap or how I cap it. Alfonseca? Shouldn't be their closer. Joe Mesa? Him neither.
Gordon had been on the DL, hence the reason he wasn't closing for them "for some time now" as you put it. Myers took over and then went on DL himself.
My point is, Gordon has been back since the 17th. He is a far better option than Alfonseca. So why not use him?

Gordon has been working his way back into game shape. Read any fantasy player update, Alfonseca has remained the closer throughout, although Myers will be taking it over when he comes back.

I read the fantasy updates. Again, it's more a question of why isn't he, rather than I thought he was.
I know he is dealing with torn labrum issues, but if you're going to let him pitch...again, isn't he a better option than Alfonseca?
