OK you want this on your HDTV so lets focus on that.

Also law - did you get the premium package? The premium package comes with the HD cable you will need to view on your HDTV. The core package does not come with that.

Here is what you do -
-----------------------------------------
If you got the premium get out your HD AV cable - you will see a switch on it - turn it to HD!

Make sure you then charge up your controller for use.

Now how to hook this thing up:
Plug the power cable into the bottom of the console and the other end into the power outlet (remember use a powerstrip law!) then you plug the AV cables into the top of the system.

Then with the component cables - match the colors to the back of your TV and plug those in.

If you got the core package then you have to put it on your regular TV w/ the directions for the component cables.

Any questions let me know.

Sbbc,

I did everything you said. still no luck.

question: do i have to put the in put on HDMI/DVD or can I leave the input on "video' for TV, also I am replacing my PS2 so I plugged the cables into the same slots my PS2 was in, is this right?

I have my TV set to component when I use component cables. The PS3 has HDMI so you set it to the output you are using.

Yes - the same slots as your PS2.

What happens w/ the XBOX when you set everything up on your HDTV?

That was the problem, I didn't have on component, I was using 'video' input.

got it working earlier, playing 'chrome hounds' right now.
