I know Sabathia has been pitching well, but -360 odds in a baseball game... plus against a team that just kicked your head in the past 2 days?

What side do cappers like or do they stay away completely? I have seen Rowland-Smith pitch while sitting behind home plate and he's not awful. I might take the plus money on the +1.5.

It is hard to imagine the Yankees getting swept at home. But I did not think that the Seattle would come in an dominate the first two games like they did either. At the the Yankees will have some sort of pitching on their side today. Gltu!

I think he was pretty bad earlier, but he's improved quite a bit. They must be thinking people are thinking no way the Yanks will get swept...especially with CC on the mound...but who knows...is tempting.

Personally I'm taking a shot with the Mariners +2.5 (+105). I think the Yankees win but I believe I've seen this once before against the Royals a few years back and they got swept.

It's up to -380 at one of my books now. I knew the line on this game would be ridiculous, but it should be given the circumstances. You wanna talk about crazy... the other day the CARDINALS were something like -320. :mj07: At least the Yankees are a great team, the Cardinals on the other hand shouldn't be -300 against a Little League team.

Having said all that, I think the M's get throttled today. If the Yankees don't win by at least 3 runs, I'll be stunned. In fact, I'd bet the Yanks win by 6 or 7. They are one of the few teams in baseball who actually play with pride, so I expect them to break out after getting embarrassed by a really bad team the last two days. And don't forget that while RRS was a pretty good pitcher last year, he's been pretty awful this year. Everything points to a NY blowout to me, but I'm not playing it due to the lines being so high. I thought about playing NY -2', but I passed.

Agreed CC undefeated at home and last time the sweep took place 2002 just don't see it but too pricey for me

As an M's fan I'd love to be wrong, but I think they have very little chance today. I think even the players and coaches know they won't win today. They're most likely THRILLED that they've already won the series and will be just fine with taking 2 of 3 against the best team in baseball. I'll be watching and pulling for the M's, but something tells me I'll be turning the game off about 4 or 5 innings into the game.

I have to give RRS a lot credit. Given the situation, I really thought he would get shelled today. It won't matter because the M's are going to get shutout, but he held the Yanks down and kept his team in the game. Nice outing.

Wow. Guess I spoke too soon. CC falls apart in the 8th and the M's tie it up at 2-2. :scared This ought to be interesting watching the M's bullpen try not to give up any runs.
