Yankees / Blue jays Over 9.5

Brian Tallet pitches for the Jays today and he is a southpaw and that is good news for the Yankees as they pound left handers at a .290 clip. Tallet has struggled in day games at 2-3 on the year and an ERA over 5. It will get even harder to pitch well at Yankee stadium that is known for giving up home runs. AJ Burnett will pitch against his former team and he has given up 13 homers on the season and seven of them have been at home. Posada hurt his thumb and may not be in the lineup today since he was unavailable to even pinch hit last night. This could change how the game is called and the comfort zone that AJ has with his battery mate.
Cito Gaston is convinced that his hitters will have an edge in the new Yankee Stadium. Gaston said earlier this week he was eager to see how his hitters, particularly lefties like Lyle Overbay and Adam Lind, would perform in a park that allows home runs at an eye-popping pace. Through Wednesday, 125 home runs had been hit at Yankee Stadium, more than any other major league park.
The Jays need to play well in this series or they will be sellers by the end of July with that in mind I look for a high scoring game with plenty of runs coming in.

Over 9.5

GL today Matt. Nice game analysis. Hope it plays out for you.

Get your post count up. It's a shame you pegged the SF/StL correct score and didn't get credit because of the 50 post qualification :( Please continue to give us quality posts like this. Will be looking for more in the future :toast:
