I will be betting against this team the rest of the year. They are finished. Jeter back to the DL, too much drama with ARod. Get rid of sorryass Vernon Wells and Travis Hafner. Why they didn't re-sign Raul Ibanez and Nick Swisher, I will never understand. They didn't even go after anybody at the deadline so this team is done for the year. The decision makers on the Yankees have done a pathetic job...... 10 yr contract for A Rod when he was 32, a 7 yr contract for any pitcher is ludicrous, they have about 3 or 4 DHs, Chamberlain and Hughes are brutal, etc......

From what I have read it is not Cashman who brought in Soriano....It is the son who over-rode Cashman & it was the other son who signed ARod to his present contract....& it is the sons who want to get the payroll lower, which is why they didn't sign Swished or Raul....By no means is Cashman an innocent bystander, but not on the above....

took the Sox last nite but with Kuroda pitching tonite im laying off. After that im fading the yanks as much as possible
