I can't belive how many posts this game got.

Those who layed the heavy chalk tonight should have choked on it. You got LUCKY. Stop whining, sweating and crapping your pants. Don't lay such huge wood and cry all game about it. Sit back and curse quietly! Then when you get lucky, crack open a brewsky or take a toke, but stop wasting space. I remember a time when this would never happen here at MJ's.....

Just wanted to get that off my chest.

And no, I did not have any side on this game. Curious how many more posts a loss would have generated....

i been calm for about a month,but i take offense to that,first i had the yanks,2nd don't try to say you can't win buy playing a - number because i do damn well and have for more then just this year.
don't try to make it look like luck the game should of never been even close it was more luck that tampa had a lead,first run was due to an E,and if they were to play that game same set up 10 time yanks would win 8-9 times.
you can't really belive that the right side was tampa bay,yanks had a chance to gain more ground on rsox,throwing one of the top pitchers in baseball against a aaa pitcher,and by far way better off and deff and bullpin, bench and coaching staff,thats why the line was like that,not because the books said hey lets post a big line because everyone will take ny and we will clean house. no it was that high to keep action off of it and kept going up for that reason.if they could they would of reather had it off the board insted of taking money on the yanks.

I'm sorry you took offense to my post. I never once said that you can't win by playing big chalk. I also never said I believed TB was the right side. And of all the posts re this game, I respected that YOU said nothing until the game was actually over.

All I was saying was that people should stop whining all frickin game. Maybe the Rays were lucky to lead through 8. Yanks were definately lucky to win. That's baseball and that's why it is called gambling.

You truly have class as a GAMBLER. So many here it seems should take lessons from you regarding this.

i must of read more into it,i wasnot sweating it because it was just another game to me,and to be honest i wrote it off in the 7th when they didnot score so it was gift wraped to me,but either way i wasnot going to lose sleep either way,because it was just part of the day,if you can't take the hit you shouldnot play the game,

phoenix i agree with you and making 5 differant threads with the same point. I tried to start just ONE thread but it didn't work. I have a feeling once everyone gets back from there vacations some rulez will be enforced and bring some sanity back in here

Dunno about the amount of the line part though, but thats just my opinion

It just seems that the higher the chalk the more some people whine. Like Fletch just said, if you can't take the hit, don't play the game.

Hey Phoenix... sorry if I contributed to that mess. I've been in a real funk, my plays have looked good, then turned sour for a few days, and I TOO had resorted to making a post in hopes of getting ANTI-JINX Karma going...

As a joke, more than anything to make light of a bad situation, but joking about it is the way I deal with it best.

BECAUSE I've been in a funk, I followed the MASTER, MAD JACK himself, and decided to "ride" another's tail so to speak. ONLY problem, I didn't wake up thinking of anyone in particular (which is a GOOD THING!

) so I took a consensus more or less after watching my CUBS and UNDER go up in flames. I did play the A's and UNDER on my own, but the rest of the nite, I rode. OF COURSE, that put me on the YANKS as well, but to a much higher degree than expected. NICK, or FLETCHER warned about getting too many par's going with one team, alias YANKS, and that's where I found myself! (Mine was a mistake actually, I had a play on STL and SF, and didn't realize I had IF BET the YANKS on the tail of BOTH GAMES for almost the full win!)

Soooo... to make a long post short, I was going to be OUT ALOT of winning plays, and potential WINNINGS, more so than losing money. I was still planning on playing the ANGELS and UNDER on my own regardless, which both won and would have made me about even, but my whole nite ended up riding on those DAMN YANKEES!!

Fortunately for me, like FLETCH, I wrote them off in the 7th when they failed to score and left for my softball game. Hence, you didn't see another post from me. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised to see the win, BUT NOW TELL ME HOW ATLANTA LOST!!!

Just kidding... (Braves cost me a small 7 teamer!)

6 or 7 posts is outta hand, I agree. I'll put one up during the day quite often, since there is little going on. But yes, we need to keep it to valuable info, not gloating, crying, whining, etc... of which, I'm guilty myself.
